Our blood bank is the first hospital in the region to receive this important accreditation.This accreditation represents a paradigm shift in the delivery of patient-centered medical services, which revolves around the highest standards for transfusion patients, donors and products.Dr. Hamid Al-Jawad, Laboratory Director and Anatomical Pathology Consultant, stated that this accreditation is the result of the hard work of all caregivers at the Blood Bank. He added that the Blood Bank is constantly striving to meet international standards, such as the launch of an integrated blood bank information system.
