With the directive of the Crown Prince of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the government to restrict the acquisition of works of art and craft products in its headquarters to Saudis, and out of our belief in the importance of art and its role in influencing the patient’s psychological state, we at Al Mousa Health Group launched the Power of Art initiative to embrace diverse and distinctive Saudi works of art, to encourage national works of art and support the growing Saudi art.
To transform the corridors and rooms of Al Mousa Hospitals into a rich art gallery full of beauty and art, we present a healing artistic scene that enhances the state of amazement and mental alertness for patients, visitors and employees alike.
Some of our paintings
Diverse and distinctive international and local artworks create a state of awe and mindfulness in patients, visitors and staff.
initiative "Let's learn"
After the Corona pandemic cast a shadow on education, schools were empty of students and teachers, and everyone turned to distance learning platforms, the need for computers and tablets emerged.
Therefore, we launched the “Let’s Learn” initiative, which is a community initiative in cooperation with the Ministry of Development and Human Resources, specifically the Social Responsibility Branch (Eastern Office). This initiative aims to mitigate the impact of the pandemic and help students from poor families continue the educational process by providing the needs of male and female students from needy families and orphans with computers, the financial cost of which was estimated at (130,000) riyals.
Cooperate with Productive families
Under the auspices of Al Mousa Specialist Hospital, an agreement was made with Al Ber Charitable Society to help some productive families, with the aim of providing a stable source of income that guarantees a decent life for families, reaching the stage of production and self-sufficiency, and improving the economic and social conditions of families.
The cooperation agreement stipulates that the hospital is committed to purchasing the products of productive families, such as date maamoul or small bags, to distribute them as hospitality or gifts for hospitalized patients or mothers after giving birth.
Experiment results and impact
After implementing the program, 6 productive families were able to achieve a good economic income, pay off some of the accumulated debts, and reach a good stage of financial sufficiency and the ability to purchase the necessary needs of Eid and school clothes and other things.
initiative Health is the taste of art
During preparations for the opening of the Southern Medical Tower in 2013, the need arose to decorate the corridors of the tower with paintings and artwork. Hence, cooperation was made with the Culture and Arts Association to transform the idea into a competition in which local artists compete to present their works to encourage and support young talents, highlight local artists, immortalize their works, and integrate art with treatment and society, in addition to raising the artistic taste of the community by visually satisfying them with paintings and pictures of high artistic quality and value.
More than 2,000 works were received, including drawing, photography, sculpture, and calligraphy. We chose 200 works from them, and rewards were disbursed to the artists in a total amount of 400,000 Saudi riyals.

race "Alhasa is running"
The “Al-Hasa Run” race is an annual race organized by Al-Mousa Specialist Hospital in cooperation with the General Sports Authority, as one of the important sports initiatives that aims to preserve the safety of community members, encourage them to practice sports, follow a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen their immunity to various types of infections.
This race attracts more than 10,000 participants from different segments of society and ages with varying physical strengths, including adults, children, women, the elderly, and people with special needs.

smile hope
The process of repairing a cleft lip is not covered by insurance, and the waiting period may be long in government hospitals. Hence the idea of treating children with this deformity for free, to put a smile of hope on their lips.
We allocated a budget to treat 30 children in cooperation with Al-Bir Society. Al-Bir Society nominated the cases and evaluated them from a financial standpoint, while Al-Mousa Specialist Hospital evaluated the cases from a health standpoint.
garden "We play together"
Cooperation took place between Al Mousa Specialist Hospital and Al Muhaidib Community Service to create the first garden to integrate children with special needs with their healthy peers, to be the result of a distinguished community partnership between Al Muhaidib Community Service and Al Mousa Specialist Hospital.
These community initiatives are a living model that helps integrate people with special needs with others. They aim to provide people with special needs with the opportunity to integrate into life and interact with others. They are also a good space for self-entertainment and practicing hobbies.
Also, parks are a center for learning and provide the opportunity for children to get to know their peers with special needs closely, which helps society get rid of misconceptions about the abilities of children with special needs.
The “Play Together” park is located in the Al-Faisal neighborhood in Mubarraz, on an area of more than 2,200 square meters, and includes more than 12 specialized games for children with special sensory and motor needs.
initiative "A paramedic in every school"
Based on our societal responsibilities and under the auspices of the Life Support Center of Al Mousa Specialist Hospital and the Education Department, we launched the “A Paramedic in Every School” initiative, which aims to qualify teachers and train them in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid to save students in the event of any emergency.
Hundreds of teachers in Al-Ahsa registered and received specialized training on how to perform first aid and pulmonary resuscitation. They obtained a certificate proving that they had obtained the training and were fully capable of performing first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation in the event of emergencies and difficult accidents, which require quick wits and correct decision-making.
Later, we cooperated with content creator Omar Farouk to spread the initiative by filming an episode entitled “I am a nurse” to highlight the importance of the nursing profession and the importance of learning the first aid course to save lives and deal with serious cases in the correct way. The episode received more than 4 million views and more than 3,000 people were trained for free on first aid skills and proper medical intervention.

Al-Mousa Hospital agreement with Turquoise Mountain
We cooperated with the Turquoise Mountain Foundation to produce a collection of artworks made by local craftsmen to be displayed at Al Mousa Rehabilitation Hospital. In addition, we will cooperate with craftsmen to provide art workshops for inpatients in order to relieve anxiety and stress by integrating art into the treatment and rehabilitation journey.
A large portion of the contract value will go directly to the craftsmen, which will ensure the sustainability and development of the crafts and will provide the craftsmen with a stable source of income and a decent life, God willing.
It is noteworthy that the Turquoise Mountain Foundation was established in 2006 based on the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Charles, Crown Prince of Britain. The Foundation aims to revive traditional crafts and renew and rebuild historical areas.
It is worth noting that Prince Charles personally follows all projects from around the world and expressed special interest in the Al Mousa Rehabilitation Hospital project, where he expressed his admiration for this beautiful intersection between art, culture and health.
initiative Fitness talent To combat obesity in children
We cooperated with Al-Fateh Sports Club to launch the Fitness Mawhib initiative to spread awareness of the importance of physical activity and healthy eating, which contributes to reducing obesity in children by sponsoring a group of children who suffer from obesity in a sports and health program whose impact is reflected on the child, his family, and the community around him.
We targeted 20 obese boys and girls, and they were divided into two categories:
First category: From 8 to 11 years old
