Signing a contract for soil support and excavation works for Al-Mousa Hospital in Al-Khobar with the Turkish company Kasktaş
On Saturday, September 14, 2024, at the headquarters of the Turkish company Kasktaş, Malek Al-Mousa, CEO of Al-Moussa Health, signed a contract for the soil support and excavation works for Al-Moussa Hospital in Al-Khobar, which includes excavation, water removal, and soil stabilization. This is considered the important and critical stage for the beginning of an ambitious project with new standards in the field of construction and engineering.
It is noteworthy that Kasktaş Company is one of the leading ENKA companies in the field of construction in Türkiye, which has a global reputation and is famous for its experience in large-scale infrastructure and construction projects around the world.
It is worth noting that the company has implemented many huge projects in the Kingdom, such as the King Abdullah Economic City project, the NEOM project, the Qaddiya project, the Mecca Metro, the Riyadh Metro, in addition to the expansion projects of the Holy Mosque in Mecca.
Al Khobar Hospital will be a world-class facility that focuses on the needs of the patient and family, taking into account new healthcare trends and transformations in the future of healthcare delivery.
The project's land area is (45,000 square metres) on the New Khobar Corniche in the Al-Bahr district. The total construction area of the project is (325,000 square metres), as it will be the largest hospital in the Eastern Region with a capacity of up to 400 beds and numerous centers of excellence. It will also include 3 underground floors designated for parking, with capacity for 2,000 spaces.
The hospital will apply international standards for sustainability design while complying with LEED Gold certification standards, in compliance with the group’s vision in its previous projects.
