His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud inaugurates Al Mousa Rehabilitation Hospital

On Wednesday, April 24, 2024 AD, corresponding to 10/15/1445 AD, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Governor of the Eastern Province, opened the rehabilitation hospital affiliated with Al-Mousa Health Group, in the presence of the Governor of Al-Ahsa, Prince Saud bin Talal bin Badr Al Saud, and His Excellency Engineer Abdul Aziz Al-Rumaih, Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development, in addition to a number of officials in the region, in the conference hall of the rehabilitation hospital.

Immediately upon his arrival at the opening headquarters, His Highness cut the ribbon to mark the opening, then toured the rehabilitation hospital and was briefed on the latest medical and therapeutic technologies.

The ceremony began with the Royal Salute, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, and then a presentation on Al-Mousa Health’s journey and the stages of development that the group went through from the beginning of its founding and the establishment of the first hospital in 1996 AD until the present time. The presentation was presented by Mr. Malik Al-Mousa, CEO of Al-Moussa Health.

For his part, Malik Al-Mousa, CEO of Al-Moussa Health, expressed on this occasion his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Emir of the Eastern Province for his presence, honor and sponsorship of the opening of the rehabilitation hospital, which is considered the largest medical oasis in the region that provides such distinguished services, stressing that the success of the previous experience in providing distinguished medical care to the people of the region is what pushed the group towards providing what is distinctive and new.

It is noteworthy that the rehabilitation hospital extends over an area of ​​100,000 square meters, is 16 floors high, and has a capacity of up to 300 beds, all of which are private rooms with large areas and distinguished services, in addition to parking with a capacity of up to 600 cars. He explained that the rehabilitation hospital includes 5 specialized centers.
Which are:

– Peak Performance Center for the rehabilitation of people who have suffered a sports injury

– Neurorehabilitation Center to rehabilitate patients with severe brain injuries

– Free Movement Center for rehabilitating and improving complex and active motor skills.

– Spine Rehabilitation Center

He added that the rehabilitation hospital includes many medical programs and advanced technologies that raise the quality of medical services, ensure the safety and comfort of patients, and improve their experience, such as:

– Neurorehabilitation and Stroke Program Spinal Cord Injury Rehabilitation Program

– Sports injury rehabilitation program

– Musculoskeletal rehabilitation programme

– Children’s rehabilitation programme

It is noteworthy that the hospital was designed as a small village inspired by the environment of the Al-Ahsa Oasis with its various elements of water, palm trees and desert. The design was supervised by the leading engineering company HDR, and the design is based on the use of materials that increase sustainability and are recyclable, in addition to the use of environmentally friendly building materials in accordance with the standards of the LEED Gold Certificate for green buildings.
