Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy aims to enhance a person's ability to perform basic self-care activities, daily tasks, and recreational activities. These basic activities include eating, dressing, bathing, grooming, going to the toilet, moving from one place to another (such as from a chair to a toilet or bed), and more complex daily activities (such as preparing meals, using a telephone or computer, managing finances and taking daily medications, shopping, and driving).

Talk to your caregiver if you want to improve a specific skill or train on a particular device.
