With the expansion of Almoosa Health Group, the competence of our team has expanded in terms of practice, education, quality and governance.

We welcome hundreds of new nurses through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Professional Training Fellowship for Interprofessional Nursing Practice (PTAP®) program.

Because of our interest in appreciating our team’s efforts, the INSPIRE program has graduated dozens of nurses, and honored hundreds of nurses and caregivers with the DAISY® Award.

At the heart of our model is the Nursing Excellence & Leadership Council, setting strategic direction and connecting the voice of every council to the future of nursing at Almoosa Health Group. Each council leads a vital domain of practice:

• Nursing Clinical Practice Council: Owns evidence-based standards that keep care safe, consistent, and exceptional at every bedside.
• Nursing Quality & Safety Council: Turns data into action, championing patient safety and outcomes that speak for themselves.
• Nursing Research & EBP Council: Fuels a culture of inquiry, transforming new knowledge and innovation into everyday practice.
• Nursing Informatics Council: Leverages technology and data to empower smarter, faster, nurse-driven decisions

INSPIRE Clinical Advancement Program at Almoosa stands for Innovation, Nursing Excellence, Interprofessional Collaboration, Research, and Empowerment.  INSPIRE provides the clinical nursing team with the opportunity to advance professionally within the scope of practice by identifying and differentiating acquired competencies, education, experience, and responsibilities according to departmental clinical advancement requirements.

The program consists of five stages with different requirements and different standards. Completion of these requirements ends with rewarding financial rewards.
