
Dr. Malek Al Moosa
Dr. Malek Almoosa is the Chief Executive Officer and Board Member of Almoosa Health.
He also serves on the Board of the Health Holding Company, where he is a member of the Governance Committee,
and is a Trustee of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, chairing its Audit Committee.
In addition, he is a Board Member of Planetree International (United States) and Oryx Isotopes, a leading radiopharmaceutical provider in Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
Dr. Almoosa played a pivotal role in founding the Almoosa College of Health Sciences, where he serves on its Board of Trustees.
His leadership experience also includes serving as a Board Member of Riyadh’s Second Health Cluster, the Alahsa Local Government Council, and as Vice Chairman of the National Private Hospitals Committee. Previously, he was Chairman of the Health Committee at the Alahsa Chamber of Commerce and Vice Chairman of Alfateh Sports Club for eight years.
He has long been active in the nonprofit sector, serving on the boards of organizations such as the Anti-Smoking Association and the Society of Blood Diseases.
Currently, he is a Board Member of the Alber Charitable Association, where he also sits on the Investment Committee.
Beyond governance, he is committed to developing future leaders as a mentor with the Qimam Fellowship Program.
Dr. Almoosa holds a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from Warwick Business School, University of Warwick (UK),
along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration.
He has further sharpened his expertise through executive education programs at Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, INSEAD, and the Wharton School of Business.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Almoosa is passionate about photography, cycling, diving, and horse riding.
He also has a deep appreciation for architecture—when asked what he would be in another life, his answer is always: an architect.
