Speech Pathology

A Speech-Language Pathologist provides a complete range of testing and treatment services to people with impaired swallowing, speech, voice, language and cognitive (Reasoning ability skills . In addition, families are counseled about their role in the patient’s therapy. Individual and group therapies are offered.

Therapy is often a long-term process and generally continues on an outpatient basis after you’ve been discharged from the Almoosa Rehabilitation hospital Program. Patients are evaluated and then a treatment program is developed.

Please always check with the nurse before bringing any food from the outside in case there are dietary restrictions.
