SYMPTOMS OF LEUKEMIA: MOST NOTABLY NOSEBLEEDS AND NIGHT SWEATS

Unfortunately, leukemia does not appear as large masses or tumors that are noticeable and can be self-detected at home or with imaging tests. Leukemia is a type of cancer that affects tissues that produce blood cells (bone marrow and lymphatic system), which leads to the overproduction of abnormal and dysfunctional white blood cells. The first step in cancer treatment is early detection to limit the spread of the tumor, hence, it is important to keep an eye on symptoms such as severe nosebleeds, constant headaches, fever, excessive sweating (especially at night), sudden weight loss, recurrent infections, bruising, etc.
