IN PARTNERSHIP WITH AL-AHSA MUNICIPALITY ALMOOSA SPECIALIST HOSPITAL IS PARTICIPATING IN THE “AL QAISARIYA SQUARE” DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

In partnership with Al-Ahsa Municipality Almoosa Specialist Hospital is participating in the “Al Qaisariya Square” development project.

Complementing the alignment of the governmental and private sectors, Almoosa Specialist Hospital has partnered with the Al-Ahsa Municipality to redevelop one of King Abdullah Road “Western Ring Road” squares, which will be named the “Al Qaisariya Square.”

Mr. Malek Almoosa, CEO of Almoosa Specialist Hospital, stated that this commitment builds on previous steps aimed at strengthening our community partnership with governmental and private sectors in the region. Our hospital has undertaken to participate in the development and reconstruction of our society to achieve the ambitious goals of “Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.”

Mr. Almoosa added that the new Square was so named to honor the designation of Al-Ahsa among UNESCO World Heritage Sites as an evolving cultural landscape and to recognize the historical value Al Qaisariya Market, one of the oldest souqs in Al-Ahsa.
The mayor of Al-Ahsa Municipality, Eng. Adel bin Mohammed Al Melhem stated that these cooperative partnerships that deliver development services align with the agenda of the objectives of the Municipality. He thanked Almoosa Specialist Hospital for this kind gesture.

The new “Al Qaisariya Square,” is located at the intersection of King Abdullah Road with Prince Mteeb Road next to King Abdullah Park, occupying an area of 7800 square meters.
A historic building will be built in the middle of the square, designed to reflect its historic origins in Al-Ahsa, in the shape of entrance of the historic market of Qaisariya, one of the most important cultural and urban sites in the Eastern Province. It was designed by Ammar Nasser Engineering & Consulting Office.

Early in 2017, Almoosa Specialist Hospital joined with the Al-Ahsa Municipality in the Faisal Garden development project on an area of 2400 square meters in Al-Mubarraz, as one of the initiatives of the hospital supporting is strategic priority of social responsibility.
